About UsAmerican River Rehabilitation provides physical and occupational therapy services to the Auburn community. We specialize in industrial and orthopedic injuries and provide hands-on patient care and quality individualized service. Most physical therapists enter this profession because they love being active and enjoy helping others return to an active, independent lifestyle. We have experienced a variety of athletic injuries ourselves, and this has given us an appreciation and empathy when providing care to our patients. We want to be thought of as the go-to-place for sports injuries and although we enjoy getting athletes back to sport, we are just as passionate about returning our senior population to gardening, golf and an independent lifestyle. We opened our practice in August 2003 and our team included Brian Halloran, MPT, Laura Snow, MSPT and Laurie Meadows, OTR, CHT. We selected Auburn because of the small town environment and the active lifestyle of the community. We have also enjoyed being involved in the endurance events in the area — Western States, Auburn International Triathlon and Auburn Century. Laura is the foot, hip and knee guru, Brian is the shoulder and elbow expert and Laurie is our certified hand specialist. Our business has grown with the emergence of Auburn’s growing endurance scene. We now have eight therapists and you can read our biographies to learn more about our areas of expertise. We are located at 12055 Persimmon Terrace in Auburn. This space has allowed us to accommodate to our growing clientele and provide services such as hand therapy, knee and shoulder rehabilitation, running injuries, back and neck injury rehab, pre- and post-orthopedic surgery, work related injuries and auto accidents. We are very proud to provide quality hands-on care in a supportive, positive environment. Our fabulous team of health care providers are committed to improving the quality of life of our patients through education, exercise and encouragement. |
